The biggest challenge not mentioned by the Ed week article—The national Opt Out movement and United Opt Out’s Occupy the DOE 2.0 planned for April 4 -7, 2013.
Across the nation, parents, teachers and public school activists will civilly disobey the inhumane and unethical testing regime promoted by Duncan. We will gather to demand an end to punitive high stakes testing and a restoration of a fully comprehensive curriculum in ALL the nation’s public schools!
