Some progressive activists are calling for thwarting voter suppression efforts using social media.
Could it be that we can subvert edreform efforts, perhaps test security, using similar tactics? Take pictures and tweet curriculum materials, visitations by consultants, unfair evaluations, actual test materials, students in abusive situations?
If teachers are reluctant to publish these themselves, you could always forward them here and we’d be happy to do it for you, within reason, of course.
Think about it!

I have received a $30 allotment of supplies for the last 5-6yrs. When we have a meeting at the administration building, the supplies seem unless…..
Just received this comment on a blog post I wrote about teachers starting school being allotted $100 for supplies, having to stand in line for a copy machine and sometimes having to pay if you exceed the number given per month…it wasn’t a militant post by any means, but…a reader sent:
In my town, a first year teacher starts at 60,000 and it only goes up from there. Eventhough they are crying for money, it never seems to get to the kids because the salaries just keep escalating. I’m sorry but they work 9 months a year, get more holidays off with pay, and their benefits are paid almost totally my the taxpayer. Still, all I ask is they be held to the same standard as corporate workers who can be fired with out it taking years, if at all–paying 30% of their benefits like the corporate world would also be fair. We are now 7th in the world behind in education so more money does not equate with better educated kids. Our community has voted them down 3 times now and I believe we have all caught on to the fact that unions have ruined our educational system and that they have e been infiltrated by socialists who are turning our kids into anti-capitalists and they are dumbing them down at the same time.
